As a Subject Matter Expert in Service Contract Operations, you will play a pivotal role in establishing a Center of Excellence. This team is dedicated to transforming our Service Contracts operations into a strategic, proactive, and solutions-driven unit, effectively managing the substantial volume of service agreements executed annually for our clients across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue opportunities for Continuous Improvement related to the processing and booking of service agreements. Formulate and implement strategies to enhance process efficiency. Suggest automation possibilities through technology to minimize manual tasks for the team. Collaborate with automation teams on projects to plan, execute, test, and monitor automation capabilities. Analyze data to uncover opportunities to meet or exceed established metrics for processing cycle times, contract signing, and booking. Oversee the accuracy of processing and booking, leading initiatives to ensure first-time correctness. Work closely with Order Intake and Revenue teams to ensure timely peer reviews to identify and rectify booking errors, facilitating the invoicing process. Act as a liaison with other departments regarding processing and booking tools and functions, escalating issues as necessary. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on policies affecting processing and booking activities, ensuring compliance within the team. Collaborate with Global Business Process Experts on upcoming system releases to prepare for their impact and ensure business continuity. Gather and document requirements for future system enhancements and coordinate with training coordinators to develop and implement training programs for new hires and ongoing education for the order processing team.Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales support within a customer service or contract processing environment. A strong commitment to customer experience, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Willingness to embrace new responsibilities and share best practices. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities and a positive demeanor. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, advocating for change while exercising sound judgment and making confident decisions within established policies. Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel), with intermediate math skills and business acumen. Competent in typing and data entry, with familiarity in CRM and ERP systems. Capable of meeting the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.About Philips
