Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Grocery Manager in overseeing all aspects of grocery department operations, including inventory management, shelf replenishment, and customer service.
- Develop and implement merchandising plans to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and train associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
- Manage expenses, including payroll, to ensure budgeted expectations are met.
- Ensure the grocery department is well-organized, clean, and meets all health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve store goals and objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business or related field desirable.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in management of retail/supermarket environment.
