Job Summary

Runnings is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Distribution Center Associate to join our team. As a key member of our distribution team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of merchandise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Processing: Scan merchandise into inventory using scanning equipment, print price tags, and break down merchandise into smaller quantities for shipping to retail locations.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately allocate quantities, submit packing slips and freight bills as necessary, and cross-check quantities to packing slips.
  • Warehouse Operations: Load merchandise onto proper pallets, shrink wrap when necessary, and practice safety in the workplace by using safe work habits.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate fork-lifts, reach trucks, and/or pick machines, and perform routine daily maintenance of lift trucks.
  • Communication: Manage bin inventories, notify manager of discrepancies, and submit packing slips and freight bills as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Computer skills required.
  • Physical Demands: Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, long periods of standing, and frequent bending and twisting.
Work Environment

Distribution Center environment with cold and warm conditions.
