Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and collection of clinical data.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
- Order and interpret medical laboratory tests, diagnose medical conditions, and administer medications or treatments as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and Albany Medical Center policies.
- Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
- Successful completion of ACLS, BLS, and ATLS certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires standing, walking, and lifting, with occasional pushing, pulling, and climbing. The ability to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, with frequent exposure to patients and medical equipment, is essential.
