Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Albany Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.

Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing and managing patients, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing and implementing treatment plans. You will work collaboratively with our medical team to provide comprehensive care and ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage patients, including ordering diagnostic tests and developing treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with the medical team to provide comprehensive care
  • Conduct patient assessments and complete physical examinations
  • Collect clinical data, including vital signs and medical history
  • Order and interpret medical laboratory test results
  • Diagnose medical conditions and develop treatment plans
  • Administer medications and perform minor surgery
  • Complete accurate patient coding for effective billing
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical reports
  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies and instruments
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Successful completion and maintenance of ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Ability to quickly master computerized medical recordkeeping and billing systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Must be HIPAA compliant at all times
