STROM MINNESOTA is seeking a highly skilled Structural Designer to join our team in the Twin Cities area. As a minimum requirement, the ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Function as a design technician, providing structural drafting and design services for commercial projects.
  • Develop conceptual, preliminary, and construction-level drawings, making revisions as needed.
  • Apply engineering fundamentals to design and convert 3D drawings into 2D drawings as required.
  • Coordinate multi-discipline design/drafting efforts for projects and visit job sites as necessary.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other personnel to meet project and company objectives.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum two-year Associate's Degree in Drafting Technology or a similar field.
  • Minimum of four years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of building design concepts, BIM drawings, and models.
  • Proficiency in computer-related drafting, preferably with Revit.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the USA.
