Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Position patients and select technical factors and equipment to obtain optimal scan quality.
  • Deliver patient care and document records in accordance with department standards.
  • Secure patient history and provide radiologists with necessary information for film interpretation.
  • Comply with established safety standards to ensure patient and staff well-being.
Requirements:
  • ARDMS Registry eligibility and successful completion within the first year of employment.
  • High degree of technical knowledge to perform specialized U/S studies with minimal assistance.
  • CPR Certification.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to adjust to flexible hours and work odd hours, including late shifts and on-call rotations.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform lifting activities related to patients.
  • Exposure to radiation and ability to operate portable equipment.
