About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Development to join our team at GridStor. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our project pipeline, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Collaborate with finance, origination, and M&A teams to ensure project goals and milestones are met.
  • Conduct real estate due diligence, negotiate contracts, and manage outside consultants and counsel to support land transactions.
  • Prepare permit applications and work with government staff and elected officials to secure land use entitlements and permits.
  • Develop and track project budgets and schedules, leading cross-functional project teams and coordinating processes to advance projects.
Requirements
  • 2-4+ years of experience in renewable energy development, with a strong understanding of the power sector and energy storage.
  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree a plus.
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS) experience a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well on teams, and experience working with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Project management skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, humility, and desire to learn.
