Job Summary

School-Based Behavior Consultation is seeking a highly skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will play a critical role in providing skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols to children with autism, serious emotional disabilities, and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans in one-on-one and group settings, utilizing intensive teaching and natural environment teaching arrangements.
  • Collect, record, and summarize data on observable student behavior, assisting with skill acquisition and behavioral assessments.
  • Document interventions, progress data, and session notes.
  • Assist with staff training on individualized treatment and behavior change protocols.
  • Report incidents, variances, or complaints to the BCBA.
  • Communicate with staff regarding student progress as instructed by the BCBA.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • One year experience as an RBT required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field preferred.
  • Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification, including annual renewal and registration.
  • CPR and CPI certification.
  • Drug Screen and Criminal background check required for hire.
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include standing, sitting, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, talking, and hearing. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is also required.
