About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Resource Label Group, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment to maximize production time and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Assist in prioritizing, scheduling, and delegating work assignments to ensure quality work is performed at the lowest possible cost.
  • Communicate daily with operations management and production personnel to review equipment performance and address any issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment problems.
  • Develop and maintain positive employee relations and ensure open lines of communication with employees.
  • Control labor, material, and part expenses within budgetary constraints.
  • Order parts and supplies as needed and request adequate tooling, hardware, and supplies necessary to perform work.
  • Assist in determining the nature and scope of forthcoming projects and the requirements for completion.
  • Maintain technical competency and stay current with industry developments and technological advancements.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and a minimum of five years related experience and/or training.
  • At least two years of relevant experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in printing or packaging.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of vendors or employees.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
