Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. AWS Cloud Architect to join our team at Nine Mind Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-based architectures and a proven track record of developing advanced cybersecurity capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with the Chief Engineer to design and implement leading-edge cloud-oriented architectures that provide new cybersecurity capabilities to our major U.S. Government customer.
Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to develop and implement advanced cloud-oriented cybersecurity capabilities.
Interface directly with customers, stakeholders, and end-users to derive, develop, and decompose next-cycle updates and specifications.

Required Skills:

Proven leadership skills and experience successfully leading technical teams and projects.
Strong working knowledge of IT products and services, including AWS technologies such as Lambda, EMR, CloudFormation, and more.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to analyze information and identify relevant facts, with a proven track record of achieving desired results.

Desired Skills:

Experience with Azure cloud technology and implementation experience.
Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and experience working in agile development environments.
Experience with AWS technologies, including migrations from on-prem to AWS.
Strong business and technical acumen, with the ability to shape opinions of key stakeholders and influence outcomes.

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.
DoD IAT Level II certification and AWS Cloud-related certifications are highly desirable.
