2nd Shift Starting Rate: $24.17

Weekend Shift Starting Rate: $25.69

Typical Responsibilities:

As a Manufacturing Associate at Veritas Steel, your role will encompass various tasks including grinding, drilling, maintaining cleanliness in the shop, and performing other essential duties. You will be expected to meet production goals efficiently while ensuring high-quality standards.

Key Qualifications:

Daily Activities:

  • Utilizing hand and power tools, including grinders and sanders
  • Assisting in the setup and operation of equipment for material fabrication
  • Maintaining an orderly work environment and proper material disposal
  • Employing safety equipment to prepare surfaces for operations
  • Collaborating with supervisors and team members to fulfill work orders efficiently
  • Executing additional tasks as directed by management

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry 30 lbs.
  • Capability to push/move objects requiring up to 50 lbs. of force
  • Pulling requirements of up to 122 lbs. of force
  • Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and kneel
  • Good range of motion for reaching and bending
  • Dexterity in both hands

Work Environment:

  • Indoor work in a spacious warehouse or outdoor conditions
  • Regular exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and heavy materials
  • Mandatory use of safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots
