As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in the PICU, including ventilation management, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve lung function and overall health.
  • Operate and maintain complex respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a pediatric ICU or NICU.
  • Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • Experience with HFOV, HFJV, SERVO 1, Servo U, and PB 980 equipment.
  • Ability to work every other weekend and participate in a 13-week contract.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a pediatric ICU or NICU.
  • EPIC charting experience.
  • NJ License.
