Respiratory Therapist

St. Michael's Medical Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. This role requires a strong emphasis on assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care, with consideration of age and population-specific needs and requirements of the patient. The ideal candidate will have a State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License, current BCLS (AHA) certificate, and 2 years of experience as a RCP. Additionally, the candidate should have an Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree. The Respiratory Therapist will work under the direction and authorization of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director/manager. In the absence of a supervisor, the RCP may be assigned/identified as Lead RCP, having responsibility for the section or department during their shift.
