The Heavy Equipment Repair Specialist at Hoar Construction is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment to maximize its value. This role involves servicing equipment at the warehouse and construction sites, ensuring all machinery is in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect equipment for safe operation
  • Coordinate field service repairs with site Superintendent
  • Evaluate and estimate repair costs
  • Create and maintain service schedules
  • Order and manage parts inventory

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in mechanical repairs
  • Customer service skills
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Acceptable driving record

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

The role requires physical ability to work in indoor and outdoor settings and travel between locations. The individual should be able to lift weight, operate equipment, and communicate effectively.
