About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring timely and within-budget completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the owner's representative for construction projects, ensuring compliance with local jurisdiction codes, National Electric Code (NEC), and client health, safety, environmental, and site-specific policies.
  • Provide field construction and engineering support to contractors, ensuring adherence to site-specific design criteria, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct quality control inspections of work performed, documenting test results and ensuring proper handling of materials during installation.
  • Coordinate with contractors on various tasks, including procurement and delivery of materials, daily work inspections, schedule and budget management, and staff supervision.
  • Assign, lead, and supervise staff engaged in observation and testing to meet project deadlines.
  • Monitor contractors' progress against schedule, cost, and overall performance, preparing progress reports as applicable.
  • Oversee the compilation of project closeout documents, including punchlists and as-built drawings coordinated through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with 7 years of related experience, including personnel supervision as a Construction Manager, construction of processing facilities, tanks installation experience, and brownfield experience.
  • Associate degree with 15 years of related experience or 17 years of experience without a degree.
  • Prior experience in a lead role in Construction Management required.
  • Experience with Mining Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) standards required.
  • Ability to supervise internal staff, field representatives, and field office personnel.
  • Leadership and managerial skills.
  • Analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and computer software skills.
