Join Our Team as a Surgical Assistant - Oral Surgery

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Assistant to join our oral surgery team. As a Surgical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our oral surgeons during procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist oral surgeons during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring proper patient care.
  • Document patient information and treatment plans accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
  • Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS certification (or completed within 1 month of hire).
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software and systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in oral surgery or a related field.
  • DAANCE certification or equivalent.
  • Licensed dental assistant status or equivalent.
  • Radiology certification or equivalent.
