Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring timely delivery of products, and maintaining a high level of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Planning: Review production orders and schedules to determine product specifications, and develop plans to meet production goals.
  • Safety and Compliance: Develop and maintain safety programs for facility use, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Engineering and Design: Study engineering documents and designs to ensure accurate fabrication and materials procurement.
  • Project Management: Manage lead times and project timelines, and set timely goals for each production stage.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead the production team, handling staffing, recruitment, training, development, appraisal, attendance, and disciplinary matters.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise to the team, and ensure that all production activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures.
  • Operational Planning: Plan production operations, establish priorities, and sequences for manufacturing products efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Review production and operating reports, and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to minimize costs and prevent delays.
  • Employee Development: Train and mentor team members on Continuous Improvement Tools and Techniques, and ensure that all employees are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure plant cleanliness and organization, with a focus on continual shop floor improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience, and at least 3 years in a supervisory position.
  • Skills: Technical proficiency with attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to travel (approximately 10% of the time).
