Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance, low-power touch sensing architectures and algorithms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify critical aspects of touch system design and interaction with overall product
  • Author detailed specifications, analyses, and characterization plans for touch system ASICs
  • Define system-level and IC micro-architecture of complex digital and mixed-signal ASICs
  • Optimize designs across multiple disciplines, including hardware/firmware design partitioning, trade-off assessments, and design checking
Requirements
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in chip architecture and/or digital design, preferably in touch or communications
  • Strong electrical engineering background in embedded system design, including ASIC microarchitecture, computer architecture, and custom or standard DSP or hardware accelerator microarchitecture
  • Experience with IC bring-up and debug, as well as proficiency in MATLAB, Verilog, or similar simulation, design, and modeling tools
