About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst and Researcher to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Central Economics and Science.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing data analysis plans to inform business decisions;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to address them;
  • Analyzing complex data sets to identify trends and patterns;
  • Communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD in economics or equivalent field;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience with data analysis languages such as R, Stata, or Python;
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to work with large datasets.
What We Offer

At Amazon, we offer a competitive salary range of $135,000 - $200,000 per year, based on location and experience.
