Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Galesburg. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping: Maintain and clean guest rooms, including changing bed linens, sanitizing and cleaning restrooms, dusting and polishing furniture and equipment, and replenishing supplies.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, including greeting and assisting them with their needs, and maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and proper uniform.
  • Safety and Security: Report any suspicious activity, maintain security for guests and property, and perform duties in accordance with Safety and Security Policies.
  • Physical and Mental Requirements: Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience: Previous customer service or hotel experience required, with a preference for experience in a similar role at a Hilton property.
  • Skills: Friendly demeanor, excellent communication and customer service skills, good organizational and prioritization skills, and prior computer experience using windows-based software.
