Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Room Attendant to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites-Galesburg, IL. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
  • Ensure all areas of the room, including bathrooms and closets, are clean and tidy.
  • Restock supplies, such as towels, toiletries, and linens, as needed.
  • Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective room cleaning and maintenance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service or hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
