About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert tax preparation, audit support, and tax planning services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized solutions.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients, either in-person or virtually, to gather information and provide guidance on tax planning and audit support.
  • Identify opportunities to grow business and increase client retention through the sale of additional products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and maintain expertise in tax planning and audit support.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including individual and business tax returns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
