About the RoleThis is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a patient-centered approach. You will work closely with our medical providers and care team to deliver high-quality care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and scheduled shifts, identifying and reporting changes in patient status promptly.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and take appropriate action in case of unintended effects.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
- Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse or active multistate RN license.
- AHA or ARC BLS certification.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN desirable.
- 1-2 years acute care/specialty nursing experience desired.
