About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a NICU Nurse Specialist at HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide top-notch care to newborns and their families, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge and skills in neonatal nursing, with experience in stabilizing and caring for infants of all gestational ages. You will be responsible for assessing each infant's physical, emotional, and developmental needs, providing personalized education and support to parents, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to newborns and their families
  • Assess and stabilize infants of all gestational ages, including those requiring 1:1 care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide education and support to parents, promoting healthy development and parenting practices

Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification from the AHA or ARC
  • Neonate Resuscitate certification within 90 days of employment start date
  • STABLE certification (preferred)
  • Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Colorado (or current active multistate RN license)
  • Diploma or degree in nursing from an accredited institution; BSN desirable
