About the Role

The Surgery Clinical Supervisor will work closely with the management team to ensure high-quality, comprehensive, and effective medical services are provided to clients and patients. This role involves overseeing and managing the surgical teams, as well as being a part of the hospital management team. Key responsibilities include scheduling, training, and hiring team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration among team members.
  • Coordinate staffing to meet client needs and budgetary goals.
  • Streamline operations and enhance service delivery without compromising care or hospitality.
  • Mentor and develop staff, ensuring they have the training and support they need to succeed.
  • Serve as a central resource for all departments, offering guidance and support whenever needed.
  • Maintain equipment and service needs to ensure optimal functionality.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited AVMA program or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in Veterinary Anesthesia.
  • CVT, LVT, or VTS certification preferred.
  • Accuracy in calculating and delivering anesthetic agents, fluids, and CRI's.
  • Proficiency in record keeping related to medical procedures, including daily treatments administered, patient status, procedures completed, supplies used, and anesthetic records.
  • Understanding and review of medical records pertinent to patient care.
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience with anesthetic monitoring is required.
