About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Education Professional to join our team at The Community Group. As a Lead Teacher for our Preschool Program, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development and Education: Design and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate learning activities that promote the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth of our students.
  • Classroom Management: Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and promotes positive relationships among students, teachers, and families.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Hold a Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care Lead Teacher Certification and a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience and Skills: Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate a passion for early childhood education, a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a strong sense of professionalism and integrity.
