About the Role

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Patient-Centered Care: Provide individualized care to patients, utilizing evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care to ensure safe and excellent delivery of care.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Communicate effectively with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Administer Medications: Safely administer medications using the latest advancements in bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
  • Document Patient Care: Accurately document patient assessments, plan-of-care, interventions, and evaluation of rendered care using electronic documentation systems.
  • Provide Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on health, wellness, and disease management to optimize health outcomes.
  • Ensure Safe Transitions: Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe discharging of patients and continuum of care.
Requirements
  • Current NJ RN License: Possess a current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
  • ACLS Certification: Hold ACLS certification by the American Heart Association.
  • BLS/CPR Certification: Maintain active American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
  • Experience and Education: Possess a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with 1 year of experience in an ICU, step-down unit, or Emergency room preferred.
  • Specialized Skills: Possess skills in vent mgmt, telemetry, ICU competency, titratable drugs, and hemodynamic monitoring.
  • Certifications and Education: Hold a BSN degree, with national certification in the area of specialty or required within 1 year of hire.
