Job Summary

The Senior Administrative Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the SVP, Operations at Events DC. This individual is responsible for providing high-level administrative support, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across all campuses.

Main Responsibilities
  • Serves as liaison between department heads and the SVP, Operations, facilitating communication and follow-up on various matters related to campus operations.
  • Manages the operational budget for the SVP, Operations, ensuring effective financial management.
  • Trains administrative staff across campuses on office operations and procedures, promoting standardization and efficiency.
  • Serves as liaison between Administrative Assistants/Specialists and the Financial Management Division, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Interfaces with high-level officials, accompanies the SVP, Operations to meetings, and conferences, providing exceptional support.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on discretion and confidentiality.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
