About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Developer to join our team at ManTech. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining database systems that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Database Design and Development: Design and develop database systems that meet customer requirements, including working with hardware, software, and network components.
  • Database Maintenance and Support: Support and maintain existing database systems, including troubleshooting potential issues and creating and submitting test reports and database improvements.
  • Documentation and Collaboration: Develop database documentation and provide users with operational manuals and supporting documentation, including information on changes. Collaborate with the Development Team to integrate and test code.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide supervision and mentorship to subordinate project and staff members. Collaborate with other Database Developer IIIs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT discipline.
  • Experience: Five or more (5+) years of related experience. If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required. If a candidate holds an Associate's degree rather than a Bachelor's degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required.
  • Certifications: Hold one of the following certifications within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Development.
  • Experience: Four years of experience in an Agile development environment.
Clearance Requirements
  • This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
