We're seeking a motivated, career-oriented Senior Database Developer to join our team in the DMV area. Opportunities are available in the Washington, DC area, as well as Northern Virginia and Maryland. If you're interested in working in any of these locations, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, support, and maintain database systems, including working with hardware, software, and network components.
  • Design database systems to meet customer needs, developing effective database systems according to specifications, testing databases, fixing errors and bugs, troubleshooting potential issues, and creating and submitting test reports and database improvements.
  • Develop database documentation and provide users with operational manuals and supporting documentation, including information on changes.
  • Collaborate with the Development Team to integrate and test code.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to subordinate project and staff members. Collaborate with other Database Developer IIIs.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT discipline.
  • Five or more years of related experience.
  • If a candidate does not have a degree, four additional years of experience are required.
  • If a candidate holds an Associate's degree rather than a Bachelor's degree, two additional years of experience are required.
  • Hold one of the following certifications within six months of commencing work on the Task Order: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Development.
  • Four years of experience in an Agile development environment.
Clearance Requirements:
  • This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
