Position Summary:
The primary role involves receiving construction materials from suppliers, organizing, labeling, and monitoring special order items as they move in and out of the yard. Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire knowledge of company products, operational procedures, culture, and customer service standards.
  • Accurately unload and load customer orders in alignment with documentation.
  • Systematically organize, label, and store materials following established protocols.
  • Safely operate yard equipment.
  • Adhere to loading and delivery procedures.
  • Document all merchandise returns accurately, placing items in the designated return area for vendor processing.
  • Engage with customers to meet their daily requirements.
  • Ensure a tidy and organized working environment.
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • A willingness to learn and grow professionally.
  • Ability to respond swiftly and effectively to challenges.
  • Capability to stand or walk for 4 to 10 hours daily.
  • Proficient in operating office equipment.
  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry over 70 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch.
