Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team at DanHil Containers. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment up-time by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing all equipment failures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
  • Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at the facility as required.
  • Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment to maintain industrial control systems.
  • Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs timely and safely.
  • Create and report repairs at the end of the shift, completing required paperwork and documenting parts and material usage.
  • Understand and follow plant safety rules, including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation, and use personal protective equipment as required.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Repair and maintain facilities and production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Perform set-up, start-up, shutdowns, maintenance repairs, and PMs on production equipment.
  • Understand and adhere to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) Procedures and all other Plant Safety requirements related to supporting machinery uptime.
  • Use a wide variety of machine tools and equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric machine controls.
  • Manufacturing machine troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus the ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Programmable Logic Controllers: 1 year (Preferred).
  • Manufacturing Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred).
Work Environment/Physical Activity Requirements
  • May engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds a minimum of ten times per day and lift 50 pounds over shoulder height occasionally.
  • Able to climb ladders safely and without assistance.
