Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Speech Therapist Specialist to join our team in San Bruno, California.

About the Job

This is an ongoing position that requires 8 hours of work per day. The successful candidate will provide diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders for complex cases, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and administer diagnostic tests to adults and children for various communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects.
  • Advise physicians and member/caregivers on test results and collaborate with physicians as treatment plans change.
  • Provide training for junior therapists, participate in staff development programs, and monitor the work of contract therapists.
  • Serve as a consultant on interdisciplinary teams and develop department policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and at least two years of experience as a Speech Therapist. You should also hold a Speech-Language Pathologist License (California), National Provider Identifier, and Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate. Basic Life Support certification is required at hire.
