Critical Care APP Specialist needed at UW Health to provide high-quality patient care in Neuroscience ICU. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional medical and perioperative care during critical illness.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with rotating night and weekend shifts. Applicants must have a Master's degree from an accredited Nursing Program or a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited PA Program. Active licensure in the state(s) of practice and board certification in their area of clinical practice are also required. Active DEA licensure is required, or the ability to apply for such licensure prior to or upon hire.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality patient care in Neuroscience ICU, collaborating with faculty, residents, fellows, surgeons, and nursing staff
  2. Participate in interdisciplinary teams to provide medical and perioperative care during critical illness
  3. Perform routine clinical procedures independently, adhering to practice agreements/scope of practice
  4. Contribute to the development of APP roles across the organization through the Advanced Practice Provider Advisory Council

Estimated Salary: $160,000 per year, based on industry standards and qualifications.
