- Lead Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and Improve Care Processes: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient flow and reduce length of stay.
- Advocate for Patients: Serve as a patient advocate, negotiating with payors and vendors to ensure access to necessary resources.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred) or Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
- Experience: Two or more years of clinical experience, with one year in the acute care setting preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications: RN or LMSW in the state of employment required for new hires.
