Role Objective: Oversee and support adolescent clients facing addiction challenges. Ensure the delivery of program services in a responsible, ethical, and supportive manner within a secure and therapeutic setting, adhering to relevant regulatory and accreditation standards. Provide direct counseling services, including individual sessions, case management, group activities, and educational lectures on a daily basis. Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver addiction treatment services to clients and their families, integrating recovery principles into their everyday lives.

Work Schedule: 10-hour shifts

  • Days: Friday - Monday
  • Hours: 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED with a minimum of one year of experience in addiction treatment or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Certification as an Addictions Counselor (CADC) or eligibility for certification within 24 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the work hours set by the Supervisor and any additional hours required for assigned duties.
  • Act as a role model for staff, clients, and stakeholders, exemplifying positive relations in representing Rosecrance.
  • Supervise client behavior and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Organize and oversee recreational activities for clients.
  • Monitor assigned clients by collaborating with the primary counselor to develop and execute individual treatment plans.
  • Maintain client service records in compliance with established regulations.
  • Prepare and deliver all educational sessions outlined in the client’s schedule.
  • Observe and document group interactions.
  • Facilitate focused group discussions.
  • Consult with treatment team members to plan daily therapeutic strategies for the assigned shift.
  • Review logs and gather relevant information from previous shifts and team members.

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: Based on qualifications, experience, and credentials

  • Starting pay for HS/GED - $18.43/hr.
  • Starting pay for Associates - $19.37/hr.
  • Starting pay for Bachelors - $20.25/hr.
  • Additional $0.50/hr. with CADC certification.

Shift Differentials: Additional compensation based on scheduled shift hours

  • Second shift (majority of hours between 3 PM and 11 PM): $0.25/hr.
  • Third shift (majority of hours between 10 PM and 7 AM): $0.50/hr.
