Job Title: Eating Disorder Technician

At Center For Discovery, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Eating Disorder Technician to join our team. As a key member of our treatment team, you will play a vital role in supporting patients through their recovery journey.

Job Summary

The Eating Disorder Technician will assist and support patients in their daily activities, provide milieu management, and engage in brief check-ins to promote coping skills. This is a part-time position working Saturday 2-10:30pm.

Responsibilities
  • Support patients during admission processes, including checking in belongings and acclimating to the program.
  • Communicate effectively with families and loved ones, as appropriate.
  • Assist patients with daily activities, such as waking routines, hygiene, meals, and free time.
  • Provide milieu management and communicate with team members.
  • Engage in brief check-ins to support patients in using coping skills.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups as scheduled.
  • Document patient progress objectively and accurately.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or two years of experience in the mental health field.
  • Current driver's license and good standing.
