We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Real Estate Attorney to enhance our legal team. This position offers potential partnership prospects for the right individual. The successful applicant will have 7-10 years of relevant experience and be poised for advancement in their career. A client portfolio is not a prerequisite for this role.
This position includes a competitive salary, comprehensive health benefits with employer contributions, a 401k plan, a profit-sharing scheme, flexible remote work options, and an attractive bonus structure.
Compensation:$150,000 +/- annually based on experience
Key Responsibilities:- Drafting various contracts, including AIA agreements and other legal documents such as management agreements and cell tower licenses.
- Preparing opinion letters that interpret governing documents and applicable local regulations.
- Handling commercial financing transactions, including mortgage refinances.
- Addressing employment law matters, including drafting employment contracts and severance agreements.
- Communicating with residents through formal letters.
- Managing discrimination cases.
- Participating in community meetings and Board sessions.
- Engaging with clients and maintaining professional relationships.
- Drafting real estate contracts.
- Assisting in the Co-op apartment transfer process.
- Must be licensed to practice in New York State.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills are essential.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate transactional law.
- Familiarity with community association law is preferred.
