Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join our team in Largo, FL.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and processing blood samples, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture techniques
  • Label and store specimens according to established procedures
  • Update patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations
  • Attend annual department trainings
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries
Requirements
  • Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of Florida
  • Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High School Diploma or GED
