Certified Nursing Assistant Opportunity

Position Overview:
This role is eligible for a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus. Ebenezer provides a comprehensive compensation package with competitive wages ranging from $ / hour. Shift differentials of $1.00 for evenings and $1.50 for nights are included. We are looking for a Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to assist our adult residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility. This position involves delivering hands-on care and support services for residents in both long-term care and transitional care units.
The patient support schedule consists of 48 hours over two weeks, including:
- Night Shift
- Every other weekend and holiday rotations
- Full benefits package (paid time off, medical, dental, retirement matching, education scholarships, wellness reimbursement program)
Reimbursement for previous costs incurred for CNA training or state NA exams is available for first-time requests. Our facility is situated in a scenic area, providing a serene environment for both residents and staff.

Responsibilities:
- Assist residents according to their individual care plans with personal care tasks such as bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, and responding to call lights.
- Perform vital sign checks and record them as per community patient care model.
- Provide AM/PM care, including peri care and catheter care.
- Assist in turning, lifting, or transferring residents with or without mechanical assistance.
- Observe residents and report any changes in their condition to the appropriate staff clearly and concisely.
- Document care provided in the electronic medical record system.
- Address resident and family concerns effectively.
- Communicate with staff during shift changes.
- Maintain order and cleanliness in resident rooms and work areas, report equipment malfunctions, and answer phones promptly.
Qualifications:
Required: Must be active on the MN Nursing Assistant registry by the start date. If hired into the Nursing Assistant Training program, a 4-month grace period from the hire date is granted to become active on the MN Nursing Assistant registry.
Preferred: Ability to work effectively with a diverse and geriatric population. Strong communication skills with empathy and understanding for residents and coworkers. Experience in roles such as HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, or Resident Assistant. Previous work experience in a customer service environment is also preferred.
