Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Orthodontic Clinical Assistant to join our team at Black Orthodontics. As an essential member of our orthodontic practice, you will provide exceptional patient care, assist with procedures, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist orthodontists during procedures, preparing instruments and ensuring patient comfort
  • Take X-rays, create molds and impressions for retainer fabrication, and photograph patients for progress documentation
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including oral health histories and treatment progress
  • Ensure proper sterilization of orthodontic instruments and equipment
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and braces aftercare
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; RDA and/or CA certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of EMR software
