Responsibilities:

* Direct or assist with the maintenance and custodial program to ensure all facilities, grounds, and equipment are well-maintained
* Confer with the Administrator, Region Director, or General Services Director before initiating expenditures of more than $500
* Perform emergency repairs not exceeding $1,000 in the absence of the above-mentioned individuals
* Maintain a broad knowledge of construction, repair, maintenance, and service procedures, practices, problems, and compliance
* Ensure procurement, cost-benefit analysis, and cost control are implemented effectively
* Maintain a valid Driver's License and provide a current motor vehicle record
* Comply with PMS Policies on Automobile Usage, Drug Free Workplace, and applicable state and federal laws

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent plus four years' experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and/or painting
* Eight years' experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and/or painting
* Broad knowledge of construction, repair, maintenance, and service procedures, practices, problems, and compliance
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
