We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Human Resource Specialist to join our team at Panasonic Energy of North America. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting Japanese expatriates transitioning to the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR support to Japanese expatriates, including assistance with obtaining social security numbers, driver's licenses, housing searches, school selection, English language instruction, and scheduling medical appointments.
  • Collaborate with regional headquarters to ensure seamless transition for expatriates and their families.
  • Run regular payroll and reimbursement processes, working closely with local HR payroll teams.
  • Process tax-related events and assist with VISA applications and renewals.
  • Assist visitors by providing living and working environments, including arranging hotel accommodations and transportation.
  • Create and improve support programs for visitors.
  • Resolve HR matters related to Japanese expatriates and visitors.

Requirements:

  • Must have working-level knowledge of English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Native-level Japanese speaking, writing, and reading skills are required.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese, both verbal and written, is essential.
  • A valid driver's license in good standing is required.
