Role Summary:
As a vital member of the Respiratory Team, you will collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans. Your expertise will be essential in delivering quality respiratory care during critical times.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess patients and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
2. Administer respiratory care to individuals with complex medical conditions.
3. Perform procedures such as endotracheal tube insertion and removal.
4. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
5. Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
6. Educate and counsel patients and their families on respiratory health.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Current CPR or BCLS certification is required.
- Additional certifications such as BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP are preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, and families.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a relevant role.
