Position Overview

We are seeking experienced candidates for the full-time role of Acoustical Managing Consultant. This position offers flexibility with remote and hybrid work arrangements. The successful candidate will engage in project management, client relations, mentoring junior staff, and independent analytical work in a dynamic setting.

Your Responsibilities

As an Acoustical Managing Consultant, you will be integral to an interdisciplinary team, providing innovative solutions to an international clientele. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing acoustical consulting projects and nurturing client relationships
  • Formulating and executing project strategies
  • Leading teams to create and implement advanced acoustical design solutions for complex environmental noise issues
  • Conducting technical analyses related to environmental noise assessments, sound level evaluations, and mitigation design
  • Preparing comprehensive reports and effectively communicating findings to clients, alongside drafting proposals and cost estimates
  • Guiding team members and fostering their technical and professional growth
  • Reviewing and interpreting relevant environmental regulations at various governmental levels

Your Team

You will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, from entry-level staff to seasoned experts, all passionate about solving client challenges and creating sustainable solutions. Our environment promotes continuous learning through coaching and hands-on experiences.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in acoustical consulting, particularly in environmental noise assessment
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and noise modeling software
  • Expertise in applying environmental regulations to practical scenarios
  • Demonstrated leadership in project teams within the acoustical consulting field
  • Experience in delivering acoustical consultation across various industries, utilizing different project delivery methods
  • Familiarity with acoustical industry standards such as ISO and ANSI
  • Experience in conducting environmental noise assessments in compliance with relevant regulations.
