Fire Sprinkler Installation Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Installation employee to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a Fire Sprinkler Installation employee, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and repair of fire protection systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam suppression systems, as well as fire pumps and backflow devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and neatly perform the installation of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems.
- Maintain proper documentation for work performed and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Provide verbal and written instructions to apprentices and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs.
- Perform physical labor, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Sprinkler Install experience.
- Working knowledge of wet, dry and pre-action sprinkler systems, and fire pump systems.
- NICET II (preferred).
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Self-starter that can work with little or no supervision.
- Strong organizational skills, positive attitude.
- Capable of performing physical labor.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
