As a pivotal figure in our logistics operations, you will oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of products while ensuring adherence to quality, service, and cost objectives to meet daily operational targets.

Your role involves coaching, inspiring, and leading warehouse teams to not only meet but exceed established goals through effective communication, training, and continuous process enhancements.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Directs daily operations for assigned teams, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory standards in line with established company policies while maximizing productivity.


Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and supervising the unloading of incoming shipments.
- Organizing the systematic stacking and storage of products.
- Managing the staging and loading of outgoing shipments.
- Maintaining accurate records, files, and reports.

Oversees the handling of goods and the administrative functions of warehouse teams to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved efficiently.

Ensures that inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately and are free from damage.

Conducts operations in accordance with Distribution Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ensuring teams comply with these standards while meeting set objectives.

Provides training and mentorship to both new and existing team members on company SOPs, safety protocols, and other essential requirements.

Utilizes effective motivational techniques to drive employees towards achieving optimal efficiency and accuracy in their roles.

Ensures safe and efficient operation of all materials handling equipment, providing necessary updates and training as required.

Maintains adequate staffing levels by ensuring work schedules are effectively implemented and completed appropriately.

Promotes a safe working environment in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) standards, including maintaining a clean and orderly workspace and contributing to warehouse security.

Utilizes radio frequency equipment for various operational functions as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Timely completion of all necessary records and reports.
- Ensuring inventory integrity and assisting with physical inventory counts.
- Participating in warehouse meetings and relaying important information to teams.
- Acting as a liaison between staff and management.
- Collaborating with Operations Management, Traffic, Customer Service, and other stakeholders.
- Engaging in assignments that require significant judgment and initiative, understanding the implications of work, and making recommendations for solutions.
- Determining methods and procedures for new assignments.
- Escalating complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
- Assisting with various projects as directed by supervisors.
- Other duties as assigned, which may include focus on specific departments or locations as detailed in applicable addenda.

Demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Familiarity with inventory management and basic computer skills is advantageous.
Strong oral and written communication abilities are essential.
