Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Faith Regional Health Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and equipment to ensure efficient and effective imaging.
  • Administer contrast agents under the direction of a physician and maintain knowledge of their indications and contraindications.
  • Assist physicians, students, and technologists with radiologic procedures as needed.
  • Coordinate procedures with other departments and personnel to ensure smooth operations.
  • Review images and adjust technical factors or patient positions as needed to assist in diagnosis.
  • Monitor patient condition and take appropriate action to ensure continuity of patient care.
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and modesty throughout procedures.
  • Monitor equipment and supplies to ensure safe and efficient operations of the department.
  • Comply with radiation safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness of rooms, equipment, and work areas.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current Medical Radiographer license from the State of Nebraska.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within one month of hire.
  • Previous clinical experience preferred.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a 76-hour workweek every two weeks. The shift schedule includes 3pm-11:30pm M-F in Week 1 and 2pm-11:30pm M-TR in Week 2, with no weekends or occasional holidays. The position requires flexibility to work a varied schedule, including after-hours and weekends as needed.
