Sentara Healthcare is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center in Norfolk, VA.

Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist, you will conduct general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, positioning patients for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operating radiation producing equipment, and preparing patient rooms/equipment/medications.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging studies of patients, including positioning and operating equipment
  • Prepare patient rooms and equipment for imaging procedures
  • Operate electronic Radiology systems
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and quality care
Requirements
  • Trade School Graduate in Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) or registry eligible graduate
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
